SAP Calculations – Meaning

All new UK residential developments, conversions and some extensions are subject to a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP). The SAP measures the energy efficiency of a building and is the basis of the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

This document is a building control legal requirement and must be completed before a property can be sold on or rented out.
